You better believe they would pay that much because if this went to trial Kaps lawyers would be given access to NFL internal communications. Given their history that would be a clusterfuck.
What a bunch of dunces.

What a bunch of dunces. Or they could burn all the evidence and erase all communications data. Sound familiar, bastard?? Lol

Correct, your point regarding his lawyers getting access to NFL cmmunications is well taken as the basis for settling his lawsuit. Let me rephrase, he’s a worthless POS and doesn’t deserve shit. He’s a worthless, self absorbed, baby who thinks he’s entitled to a pay day and gamed the system along with his ambulance chasing lawyers and the system caved. He needs to just go away with his radical anti-United States girlfriend.

Don't take the law into your own hands, appeal to the justice system. And the justice system didn't cave, it did its job. The owners caved because they decided throwing money at the situation would make it go away. The owners are morons for not seeing how this was going to play out when it all began. But thats the NFL way. Crises reaction never crisis prevention. Think he's worthless POS if you like, but the guy got $80M from whitey by beating them at their own game. Dont hate the player, hate the game. Bro.

If no one wants Kap on their team because they don’t like him or the publicity, that’s their right to do so. So either you believe there was collusion - or you are instead applauding a certain gaming of the system because without collusion it’s just a classic legal shakedown. That’s a sorry thing to applaud.

That’s a sorry thing to applaud. I don’t know for certain if there was collusion, (and I wasn’t applauding, but I can see how you might take it that way) none of us do with ceratainly. But my gut feeling, looking around the quarterback situation in the NFL is that he certainly is good enough to play. But yes owners get to decide who they employ. I’m not comfortable with a system where wife beaters are afforded 3rd and 4th changes but guys who make political statements are considered unemployable. If you extend that out only players who agree politically with owners will be given jobs? Flip the script....what if an owner decides he doesn’t want patriotic players on the team? Would that be OK? I guess also on a basic level sports is supposed to be a level playing field. I want the best players playing. That’s probably naive on my part, it’s a business after all. In the end Kap used the only tool left to him, there’s no gaming a system, there’s only using it to work for you. I have no doubt the owners would use it to help their case if they could. One mans justice is another’s shakedown. Maybe it depends on whether you win or lose.
