So we go from Pro Bowl to toilet bowl. The one thing we didnt have to worry about, young guy...and we let him walk as we "re-build". Fucking ridiculous.

OMG we let our one year wonder kicker leave for 4 years / 16 M dollars! The sky is falling!
Curious what Catazano signed for, money and years. The Jets obviously feel with good ST coaching they can make any kicker succeed. Boyer is a very good ST coach.
As for Roberts, it saves a roster spot and some cash if Crowder/Cannon/etc. can handle return duties, and succeed with good ST blocking.

Your faith in a ST coaches influence in a kicker's reliability is stronger than mine.

Myers was anything but reliable before last season and he’s missed the most extra points of any kicker since entering the league. On a reasonable deal I would’ve liked to have him back. But not at Vinatieri money.

So the jets decide to dismantle one of the better ST units in the league this year.
Makes sense.

What's the going rate for a respectable/reliable kicker in the league?
