this a sign we'll be drafting all OL?

Are they really that much of a better option than Cannon and/or McGuire?

this a sign we'll be drafting all OL? With Bell locked up for a few years, I wouldnt expect to see us draft any RBs this year, just to have them sit for a few years. Montgomery is an interesting option. I remember him from GB being a decent backup RB who could catch the ball out of the backfield. And he returned kicks FWIW. And Ware has a career 4.6 YPC avg, and did run for around 900 yards in 2016. I think that was the year he got the bulk of the work in KC?

Bell and Ware would be a hell of a 1-2 punch. When healthy, Ware produced.

Agreed. Even though I would like to see them draft a RB in the middle rounds, it does make sense that the Jets might be finally going all in on the OL.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Darrell Henderson if he is there in the 3rd.

Honestly, i think drafting a RB this year would be a waste. You figure Bell is here for 2-3 years at least, getting the lions share of the touches. So whatever rookie you draft will play specials and get scraps most likely, behind Ware, Montgomery, McGuire or Cannon, or some combination of them.
RBs can come right in and produce, might as well draft one when Bell is on the way out, not on the way in.
Which is a nice problem to have, cause they can then load up on OL and other areas of need.

Montgomery's a guy who played some WR and RB with Green Bay... seems Gase likes RBs who can catch as well.

Meh
Solid gadget player but I would’ve preferred Ware. More of a bruising, in between the tackles runner who would’ve been a damn good piece to spell Bell for 8-10 snaps a game.

Ah so instead of physical beat your ass type to weaken opponent, jets go with cutesy tinkle toes type... Typical jets. They need to go back to the old outfits bc they make the same jankass decisions
