Got J&J back in May. No pain, no symptoms. Wanted to do my part even though I am skeptical about all things covid. Im on the fence about the booster. Covid is endemic at this point. Let people live their lives and make their own personal health decisions. This. We have a vaccine and people have made their choice. Let’s get on with life. Hopefully, covid will then burn itself out, the constant measures to “slow” covid (imo) only give it more opportunities to mutate.

Without being there it sounds like the Packers defense man assaulted the Jets O linemen. I was counting on the revamped O line to protect Wilson and give the young QB some time. Maybe it's just a question of playing together as a unit and reps.....lets hope so. The last thing the Jets need is for Wilson to be mauled like Pennington and become a noodle arm. I think the Jets O lineman were feeling the effects of traveling and were thinking this is practice. While the Packer D line was rested, pumped and game ready. Let's see if the performance is better the second day.

He is a scumbag. But if he made a deal, he made a deal. Prosecutor should be fired and disbarred. Gotta have principles. Even if they lead to unfavorable outcomes. Totally agree with this. But I don't get the point of the deal anyway. If Cosby pled the 5th and refused to answer questions in his civil case, the jury would be told this and be told they are permitted to infer that his refusal to testify is because his own testimony would be bad for him. This is because it was a civil case and not a criminal case. So, the rationale for the deal escapes me because it helped no one except Cosby. I guess I answered my own question there. I'd like to add that I feel terrible for his victims, but I have unanswered questions about the victims who went back to him after he did this to them. C'mon man! If a guy rapes you, you never want to be in his presence again, right? IMO, a number of the victims thought having sex with the dirty old amateur pharmacist was a good "career" move and then became bitter and regretful as time went by. Don't get me wrong, Cosby is scum and preyed on his victims by dangling the possibility of achieving a Hollywood dream lifestyle by their "association" with the old pervert. But there were no Mother Theresa's involved here. IMO most of these women are cautionary tales because predators like Weinstein and Cosby are just the tip of the iceberg when fame and fortune are your ultimate goal. Once again, they are all victims and did not deserve to have this happen to them, but in the real world, there are wolves and you ignore their existence at your peril.

A lot of things in this country would be better if the news media wasn't such a joke. Remember the days when the a news reporter would fight editors and programmers to be able to report on stories? Those days are gone. Those reporters have died off, been marginalized or put out to pasture by all of the major medial outlets. Now, big media "tells" its reporters what narratives it wants to push, instead of having them investigate and report on what they find. The only "news" show I'll watch is The Hill, Rising because they start with the premise that most politicians are corrupt and make a clear distinction between news and opinion. As far as "print", or should we now say "written", media I'm limited to reading Matt Taibbi and Glen Greenwald. I'll also listen to podcasts by "comedians" like Joe Rogan, Russell Brand and Jimmy Dore because they do provide a broad informed perspective about what is going on in the world. The one thing all of these sources have in common is that they are not controlled by big media.

Well at least the vote was confirmed. It started when he was 17 and it was over an 18 month period. So, he was over 18 for at least the last 6 months, maybe more. And she got 4 years in state prison. Musta had a public defender, no?

Chad could've been great, but we are not dealing with what could have been.
Kenny O was the second best QB in the illustrious history of Jets QB's and it aint even close. 2× Pro Bowl (1985, 1991); NFL passer rating leader (1985); and AFC Player of the Year (1985).
He was also the first quarterback to pass for 400 or more yards (431) in a game and earn a perfect NFL 158.3 rating, a feat not be matched until 27 years later. He was one of only 4 quarterbacks in NFL history to have a perfect passer rating of 158.3 in a game while attempting 30 or more passes and the holder of another NFL record that lasted for 25 years when he combined for 927 (884 net) yards and 10 touchdowns passing with Dan Marino. And my favorite Stat line --- O'Brien was the ONLY QB with a winning record vs Dan Marino.
O'Brien was a record setting QB forced to play behind a paper mache line. I've never seen a QB have any type of success while absorbing as many hits as O'Brien.
And if that is not enough to generate love for Kenny O, he happens to be the father-in-law to Josh Peck.

I have nothing against Wilson but I don't think he is such a sure thing that it makes sense to pick him at #2 and put him on a team with a for shit O-line and which is in the process of installing an offense which will be new to every player on the team. It seems to me that both Sewell and Pitts would be better picks at #2 because Sewell is as close to a sure thing future all-pro as you are gonna get in a draft pick and Pitts is a game changer - a player that causes a D to have to change their entire approach when playing you.
I just don't see the sense in putting a rookie QB on an incomplete team while he learns the new O with his teammates. Isn't it better to wait a year, after the players fully understand the O and then draft a QB so he is the only one learning and you can plug him into a fully functioning Offense?
My views are not born of any love of Darnold. Frankly, the Jets should have just found some Vet who had some experience in a Shannahan/LafLeur OF and brought him in to compete (and beat out) Darnold. This is about the right way to build a team and the best way to foster success for a rookie QB. If the Jets draft Wilson, I fear it will just be a repeat of previous mistakes.
