If Jimmy G was that guy, i.e., a franchise QB, Mumbles and old man Kraft would not of let him go. Despite what RainbowTom says, he’ ll be out of the NFL soon. If the guy was that good he’d still be there. The Jimmy G contract is reminiscent of when the Lions broke the bank for the Dolphins QB years back. I believe his name was Matt Morris. The guy who will be there will be 10+ years will be Darnold , Rosin or Mayfield. So here’s hopeing Jets mgt gets off there asses and gets one of those 3.
I remember my mom and my grandmother, every few months would get out the red and white checked table cloth, lay it out on the kitchen table and roll out what looked like 500 pierogis but was probably closer to 200.
Fried in butter with sautéed onions was my mom’s and my sisters’ favorite. My Grandma always did the big scoop of sour cream. Me and my brothers liked them boiled, we’d bite off one end and pour melted butter in them and eat them.
Fucking mustard?!? Ketchup??!!??
LOL. I know that scene in the kitchen. As the young guy in the equation it was my job to pinch them closed. No arthritis at 12. I agree that it looked like 500. I grew up learning how to cook at the end of her apron. I have many of her recipes, not this one though, written in her own hand. I went so far as to laminate the her hand written cheese cake recipe so I can ensure it survives to the next generation. What I would give for one more Sunday working with her in the kitchen.
Ya. What I really missed out on was my paternal grandmother and my Mom. My mom, being Austrian only knew German and polish type stuff but my father's mother came to the US from Italy in 1906. Taught my mom all my mom ever knew about Italian cooking which was basically everything. But that grandma passed when I was only 10 so I never got to learn from her (not that I could have because she didn’t speak English) but my mom taught me all of it.
Yeah, I have a bunch of my Mom’s recipes written in her own hand.
