Penn and Teller went in depth on the nonsense of recycling in 2004 and Stossel did a show in 2015. Nice for "the paper of record" to catch up. I like that they are blaming oil companies though. How long before we get the "Oil companies knew about Coronavirus!"

Happy Earth Day, lol David Harsanyi @davidharsanyi · 21s I think it's absolutely fair for people to point out that the Green New Deal will have similar economic consequences to the coronavirus crisis -- except forever. Quote Tweet Eric Holthaus @ericholthaus · 31m This is roughly the same pace that the IPCC says we need to sustain every year until 2030 to be on pace to limit global warming to 1.5C and hit the Paris climate goals. This is what "rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society" looks like. CBC News Alerts @cbcalerts · 1h The coronavirus pandemic is expected to drive down carbon dioxide emissions by 6% this year, the World Meteorological Organization says. It would be the biggest annual drop since World War II. cbc.ca/1.5540721Eric Holthaus @ericholthaus · 29m Replying to @ericholthaus We're doing it. It's possible! We need to take some serious time and energy during this pandemic to look around and see what parts of this new way of living we can keep (like less air travel) and what parts we can't (like huge unemployment). There is a balance. We'll find it. Eric Holthaus @ericholthaus · 27m That's the whole point of a Green New Deal. We need a just transition for workers and those who have been marginalized by the excesses of the capitalist system that got us into this mess. We can build a better world for everyone out of the ashes of the old one. Eric Holthaus @ericholthaus · 23m Obviously, a pandemic is not a climate plan. That's ecofascism. But action on this scale is what's needed to transform our world into one that sustains and nurtures life in all its forms. We are remembering we can act in solidarity with each other.

“dangerous, misleading and destructive”
I don’t know, still sounds like Michael Moore to me.

Well that guy’s career is over. Climate change is a religion not a science.

Well that guy’s career is over. Climate change is a religion not a science. Hopefully he sells enough books to make up the difference. Sad that honesty is punished but as Copernicus knew that has been happening for a long time.

I keep reading about these rolling black outs. I assume people are running gas/natural gas generators to keep their food cold when this happens. I also assume that this negates and decrease in CO2 from their "green" policies.
