Replacement battery costs more then the car. Have to do your due diligence before spending $11k. My girlfriend put $1000 down on a Tesla 3 pre-order when it first opened up and after a few months of research we canceled it because of all of the issues relating to owning a tesla. Travel distance/charge, have to go to a dealership for maintenance, only use Tesla parts which sometimes take weeks to get, ... It is a toy and not reliable transportation. Add in the stress on the grid and they don't even want you to charge them. Waiting for even/odd charging days or something similar enforced by the Tesla software. |
