Frankly, neither should get a tax credit imo.
So, you’re incentivizing adoption of EVs by offering tax credits….which compounds the revenue loss from gas tax. How exactly should this revenue gap be covered?
I’ve never bothered to research and I’m sure I’m not the first to ask the question. Guess I’m just afraid of the answer.

Right, I do remember now about the mileage tax….and privacy concerns. It is coming. Guess I was trying to forget. Ya….even Toyota backing off the “it’s EV or nothing” bandwagon. Taking a hydrogen/ev/ice and whatever else approach. The whole tax credit thing is feel good bullshit. |
