If this is true fuck Mitch and Trump ought to blow it off and just do it Thursday. If Congress won't move it then just do it from the Oval Office. I don't think even the networks would have the balls to not cover it. |

SOTU is up to the Speaker. They set the schedule. So Dems control that. Just like Reps control the Senate.

Because giving the SOTU and addressing the nation from Oval Office or East Room are two different things. SOTU is a scheduled event attended by Congress and SCOTUS. A national address can happen at any time. |
