I'll take dumb luck over a well documented culture of cheating spanning Beli's entire tenure as HC....a tenure that also included Tom personally penalized (pun intended) for cheating. When the time comes I will have a real problem seeing Brades go in. Its tainted, all of it. Finally we know how you feel. How about steroid users up for election in baseball? Same feelings? Yup, including Yanks.

I asked several people today and they all said yes. The only NO votes were Pats fans. Seriously.

I’ll put it this way: if Joe Flacco somehow strung together an amazing playoff run like he did when he won a SB, and won a 2nd SB, would he be a HOFer?
No.

No. Flacco didn’t play 16 years, is not top 10 in any category. Eli’s stats put him in the top ten of almost every QB category that matters. Dan Fouts is a HOFer??? I’ve noticed that only Jets fans and Pats fans say no..... I’d give him the yeah vote.

Probably not quite fair, but what’s the stats of the ‘worst’ QB in the HOF?

Yes. Although I admit he doesnt pass the eye test.
2 SBs and 2 SB MVPs. Defeated the greatest HC/QB ever twice. He is also 7th in yardage and TDs. And was remarkably durable.

Griese was Mark Sanchez, with Larry Locomotive Czonka winning most of the 'Fins battles. 59% career completion percentage. Only George Blanda had poorer numbers, but he's in for longevity and kicking, really.
