My company (decent size, traded on London Stock Exchange) decided that anyone in the NY office who isn't fully vaccinated won't be allowed into the office until Tsarina Hochul's temporary mandate is reassessed on January 15th. Wifne is pushing me to get the jab. Kids will be home for winter break soon, so I expect things to get hellish. Maybe you can get a job in California. You don't even have to leave your current one. |

Do you have to go to the NY office? Does anyone really have to go into an office now? There have been zero issues about not being in the office the last two years. I'm in sales, so they'd like everyone to be together. I can't go in now anyway. Even if I got J&J today I'd still have to wait until two weeks before going back. Longer for Moderna or Pfizer. My company is pushing for us to come back 3 days a week other than all the people who don't live "near" the office. I keep asking how far away I have to move so I don't have to come into the office. I never get an answer, just a chuckle. I am in IT. There is no reason for me to be in the office, my team primarily works remotely and BEFORE Covid I only had to go in twice a week! None of it makes sense. |

Yeah, it makes no sense, the “booster”. If the antibodies aren’t really working on variants, then all the booster is doing is stimming the immune system - in a very short term way. It’s not much different from simply getting a flu shot or - even better - a nasal flu vax. They probably fight Omicron about as well as a 3rd/4th booster ffs.
