Relevant - What's a band? Whats a cover? Whatsamatta It’s such a joy to watch great musicians jam. "I Thank You", huh? fugheddaboutit. I like Billy G holding his ground, vocally; making room for that real special voice of DH. I found this last night.

Relevant - What's a band? Whats a cover? Whatsamatta Did you see the ZZ-top documentary on Netflix? It was pretty good. Billy is in great voice here. These songs sound great fleshed out with all the other instruments.

Does it count if Sting did the original?

Lotta people coming at me about Steely Dan (who most people here hate, let's be honest) not being a "band." Every band uses studio musicians. Friggin Pet Sounds was like 90% studio musicians. Let it go.

A jazz classic from the Duke. Re-imagined by Hiromi. (Who looks orgasmic while banging the keys).

Great pick. Also, check out this version by Sting. Not a huge Sting fan per se, but for some reason this version blew me away when it came out. Really different approach than the two you posted, but still with some awesome guitar playing. Nice find. I’ve never heard that one before. Interesting take on the others.
