Yeah. I did a twatter search for Merrick and saw similar stuff. Basically targeting Merrick bc thats where the "racist Trump supporters" are. I think the cops did a good job. They are free to march wherever they want. I hope for everyone's sake that as the sun goes down the miscreants who have been hijacking the protests dont go into those towns down there. Lots of LEOs and 2A people. Not the type of houses you want to break into. When you say drama, how bad did Merrick get? If it was like Poughkeepsie yesterday, there were protesters and counter protesters and cops and a lot of yelling but very little violence. Although lots of false rumors all night and this am about violence that didn’t happen. Pretty much the same as Poughkeepsie. |

Here’s the thing with Twitter, which you guys know - it’s very easy to make a fake account and start posting threats to particular neighborhoods. As I mentioned earlier, Brewster was “targeted” as were some places in Westchester. Probably the same reason for places on Long Island. Surprised they didn’t name check GC. But some of these are coming out as left- or right-wing groups posting fake stuff to incite violence. Happened in philly also. People spread what they read on there like wildfire. I’ll be the first to apologize if I’m wrong, but I’m calling BS on this stuff. Granted, the police need to take it seriously but I think it’s all smoke and no fire. Heres the thing. The proof is in the pudding. There were protests. And thankfully they were peaceful. But if the goal of the protests was to be seen and heard then going to a tiny South Shore town makes no sense. They could have marched Main Street in Hempstead or in Mineola where all the county offices are. Lots of bandwidth in those place for them in terms of streets and parks. Not to mention it would be literally right in front of the people that have the power to make changes. |

They got a permit to go into north GA They are entering their demise if they think they are gonna attack ppl in the north GA suburbs. Some towns REQUIRE you to own guns if you own a house. And that's on the slim chance the cops stand down which I SERIOUSLY doubt will happen. These fools won't be leaving jail ANY time soon if these areas decide to prosecute. They don't fuck around Recipe for disaster. There is literally no reason to protest in residential areas. Like I said in my other post if you are truly protesting then the goal is to make yourself seen. Going down side streets is asking for trouble. Keep it to main streets and respect peoples homes. |

That’s a great idea to create more martyrs and more unrest. I’m thinking maybe use the creativity to come up with ideas that cause LESS bloodshed. But that’s just me. Look at some point we have to resist the natural instinct to bash the other guys head in or else we’re all just animals sharing equal blame for where we are at. In this country we have to exist with people who’s beliefs are 100% the opposite of ours. We have to be better and smarter or we’re doomed. |
