The Hatred of whites is real in this country. And I live in a predominantly black part of town like I always have. I'd like to say things haven't changed. With my neighbors no of course not both black. But im well aware of the tension on the other blocks. Because I'm not your typical white guy. I enjoy a fucking reason to get busy living or get busy dying. Exactly. We had several loose dealers living in homes on the block, before the housing crisis. I told one of the hanger-ons to not piss on my bushes; for 6 months he'd drive by and glare and I'd practice my Realtor® stare on him; ever-so briefly. When they see that I won't call the cops, they get tired of pretending to be OG, an d move on. They follow me to the BofA; shopping, set their cell phone near the PIN pad to try to yank my PIN. It's all survival BS to them; I'm one of the few remaining whites in the entire neighb. I just do the Fred Rogers amble and wave at them. I get teh feeling you like to give them the "try me never" smile. lol |

My wife is 50% Greek and 100% nuts, so I have to be the George Burns around the block. She pisses people off so fast; the brothers think of her black chick. Epic parking spot battles in front of the house. She thinks all our flat tires are from all the houses being built.

The peaceful protesters made good on intentions; not a drop of BS (except the M-80's or M1000's going off at night) during their 300+ person walk through our neighborhood. They ended up at McDonald's parking lot on 3rd. That Eggamuffin is a harmonizing force. |
