Meh doesn’t really bother me. I wanted to watch hockey but I’ll get over it.
My sauces say 100% of Isles and philly players voted to play. Actually 7 of 8 teams remaining voted to play. A few on one team didn’t. A Canadian team FWIW.

Not my words but another point of view-
“Anyone who's read a post from me knows I'm an insanely passionate Islander fan. I want nothing more than this team to win and thus obviously to see them play. So am I disappointed I don't have some entertainment/a distraction from about 7-10pm tonight when I planned on it? You bet.
That said I have priorities and those are my health and the health of everyone I love and society at large. Basically I don't want anyone to suffer.
Therefore legit don't know how anyone can get worked up about any business, sports league, or individual human being deciding on their own (which they are allowed to do) to pause their normal life for a period of time when another group of people are suffering with the purpose of saying, "This may not do much, but want to let you know I hear what you're saying, sympathize with what you're going through, and just want to to show my/our support in any way that I can."
This basically happens anytime someone dies and you decide to go to a funeral, wake, or shiva call. You stop your life for a moment to support another who is hurting and it's simply called being a decent human being.
Lord knows we need more of that now.
So you can be both disappointed that you won't see hockey tonight, but also understanding of the big picture. Time for all of us to open our eyes, but our hearts even more.“

Meh, 2 day delay.
Big whoop
Hockey fans are more loyal to the sport anyway, far less bandwagon fans.

But I'll be watching on Saturday when they resume, and the rest of the playoffs.

I don’t agree with what they did but I’m fine with them having the right to do it. I’m not going to only watch sports based of political views of players. Drop the puck!
