Raised by Wolves, Season 1; very weird, but great production. For All Mankind, Season 1; great concept, high production. The Batman; actually a good movie overall. I thought the storyline for the Riddler was well-thought out. Pattinson's Batman is very good, makes you realize just how over the top Bale's was, and I liked his. However, Wayne is no bueno; can't be a brooding super hero AND alter ego. Finally watched The Batman. Was extremely disappointed. Too long, too brooding, totally lost me at whining "Alfred you're not my father"! Was waiting for him to cry, "It's not a phase!". He made a lot of dumb decisions. He looked scared before he jumped off of the building. Penguin was poor. Struck me like a college film project more than a big budget film. Like you said brooding as Batman and Wayne was bad but ALL of the actors had one note.

Finished Ozark, won't spoil it for those still in it. 2nd half of the season wasn't as good as the first. Scenario was a runaway train at times. Still good tv

Any good true crime podcasts? A couple years ago listened to a bunch, then couldn’t find any that interesting, so I’ve been listening to comedy type podcasts lately, and some of them are a bit stale. Looking back to true crime
Also, for comedy podcasts, Smartless is good when they have comedians or funny people on. It’s Always Sunny podcast is good. Bill Mahers podcast is pretty good. Dana carvey and David spade have a podcast, and it should be hilarious, but it sucks, unless you want to hear about Saturday night live war stories every episode.

Story of a Texas spinal surgeon who had no business performing surgery and kept bouncing around hospitals ruining peoples lives. Extremely well done and fucked up. Edit: the podcast was turned into a TV series on Peacock starring Joshua Jackson (who was awesome on Fringe).

Firebug - Investigation around a serial arsonist in LA area in the 2000's Bear Brook - Bodies found in barrels in the some woods, end up being one the first cases where genetic geneology is used. And if you never listened, the podcast that launched all true crime podcasts Serial. Season 1 on re investigating the conviction of a teen accused of killing his gf. Really well done.

Looks pretty cool, can't say I'm familiar with the book. I like Pratt, so it's worth a shot from me.

I did Bear Brook (on your recommendation) and it was very well done, compelling and fucking sad. Also did "Baby hope" which was the same. Then I realized these I just couldnt handle these true crime ones about kids anymore, lol. Too much.

Indeed. Bridges is a great badass. Call it a hunch, but one of those dogs isn't surviving and he's going to destroy someone for it.

Finally got around to watching the Matrix 4 and the ending sucked. To get the bad taste out of my mouth I looked at Netflix Sci Fi section and found this. It's called Dark.
It's 3 seasons and Netflix and Rotten Tomatoes both rated it 95. I don't want to spoil anything but I'm 1 season in and it's pretty good. If you want to get a better feel for the show watch the preview on YouTube and read the comments.
