Lived nearby at the time. Everyone knew Michael Lange was a skeezy sack of shit before the show ever happened. Took advantage of a desperate small city trying to put itself in the map during hard times. Rome had no idea how to handle something like this. It was never about columbine victims or gun control. He was 200% full of shit. Anyone familiar with those bands knew that was gonna be a shitstorm. How they thought they'd get the same peace/love Woodstock vibe from those bands is ridiculous. Finished the whole thing, worth the watch. Agreed. HBO did one a year or so ago that compliments this one decently. The assistant guy, I think he was 22 at the time, seemed to have a better clue than the rest of them. Handing out candles at the end. Cringeworthy at best and probably criminally negligent. All that said, 3 days of no sleep, heat, liquor and drugs. Not sure how it didn’t go worse. |

While I don't find them responsible or could have stopped anything, RHCP playing "Fire" while fires were erupting all over and Limp Bizkit telling people to break shit wasn't smart. |

I thought I would hate it because of the lead actor but I've grown to really like it.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but I highly recommend The Offer on Paramount +.
It’s really good - about the making of The Godfather - the producers, writer, director, actors, the mob. Very well acted and just a really cool show/ story. Kinda mad men-ish, but with Hollywood and the mafia. You can sign up for a free one week trial to watch the entire series.

Anyone else just waiting on Better Call Saul to be over or is it just me? I like it but I doubt it's just you. It's gotten better since they killed off Jimmy's brother. Now that Jimmy is married (I wish there was a little more skin from the wifne Kim played by Rhea Seehorn who has a nice bod) and in hot water with the cartel and Hector & Lalo Salamanca - and being used by Gus, I think the story line will grow stronger and I am looking forward to the next season. It's a lot better than most of the crap out there IMHO.
