I found it interesting. He definitely proved there are mysteries...then jumps too quickly to his conclusions imo

TV series sequel to the '80's classic "Willow" debuted on Disney+ last night. As a huge fan of the movie, the show is just extra gravy. Wondering how Val Kilmer is going to show up given his current condition, but I did read they have his character lined up in some capacity.

Two episodes in and I'm going to stick with it.

For 32Green Podcast: Talk To Me From the same vein as Break in The Case 32green had suggested (sounds like the same narrator). It's about hostage negotiations and the creation of the Negotiation Team for the NYPD which apparently was the first of it's kind in the world. First episode is a dive into the Attica riots and NYPD analyzing what went wrong in order to start this negotiations team. Really good story telling so far.

Rise of Empires - Ottoman on Netflix
Very cool historical docudrama of the rise of the Ottoman empire. Season 1 was the siege of Constantinople. Season 2 Mehmed II vs Vlad the Impaler.
Really good story telling with inserts from historians. History for dummies, highly recommend.

Idk about anyone else, but I'm pretty pumped for The Last Of Us on HBO Max when it drops on 1/15. From the trailers it looks like they impeccably nailed the setting from the videogames. Loved the story in the game to death, it looks like they'll be able to do it justice I'm hoping.
Also House Of Dragons nailed that Game Of Thrones vibe if you haven't seen it yet or were on the fence.

House of Dragons was way better than I expected. Most of the complaints people had I found trivial. Biggest problem is the character disconnect when they change actors to age them.

They have Neil Druckman on board for the whole project and having the director of Chernobyl doing it is giving me a lot of hope. I think they nailed the cast pretty well, hoping it translates.

Def. will check it out. My wifne's Uncle Hugh was Commanding Officer of the Hostage Negotiation Team for about 13 years. The narrator is Edward Conlon (same narrator as Baby Hope) a retired Detective and author. Uncle Hughie has a ton of hilarious stories about insulting Chiefs who tried to interfere with his hostage negotiating. He was able to do it with a straight face and they often had no idea he was virtually calling them boobs.

Really fun skillset to observe. I marvel at his interactions with patients who are demonstrating....undesirable behavior. I applied for the HNU with DOC, was told that I didn't have the right disposition. In addition to my duties as a RN (soon to be Assistant Nurse Manager!), I'm presently an instructor of the Crisis Prevention Institute, and I am teaching all the ED staff (soon to be hospital) about how to identify and intercede for those in some sort of crisis or agitated state. So yea, about that disposition. I'll be sure to check this series out, I'm sure I can glean a thing or two from it while being informed and entertained.
