For 32Green Podcast: Talk To Me From the same vein as Break in The Case 32green had suggested (sounds like the same narrator). It's about hostage negotiations and the creation of the Negotiation Team for the NYPD which apparently was the first of it's kind in the world. First episode is a dive into the Attica riots and NYPD analyzing what went wrong in order to start this negotiations team. Really good story telling so far. Hey sorry, just saw this. Def. will check it out. My wifne's Uncle Hugh was Commanding Officer of the Hostage Negotiation Team for about 13 years. The narrator is Edward Conlon (same narrator as Baby Hope) a retired Detective and author. Uncle Hughie has a ton of hilarious stories about insulting Chiefs who tried to interfere with his hostage negotiating. He was able to do it with a straight face and they often had no idea he was virtually calling them boobs. You'll love it. Really interesting hearing how they had to really go against the way things were done at the time and basically write the playbook. Telling cops "no don't say come out or I'll shoot. Let me talk to this guy for 18 hours". And Conlon is a fucking brilliant narrator. |

Like the Baby Hope episode, I'm sure I'll know alot of the people interviewed, referenced. I actually worked for two of the Commanding Officers of the Hostage Negotiation Team at various points, though I never sought to take the course and become certified. It was not something I felt I could handle. I'm too much of a dick. (shocker) The cops who did do it were awesome to see in action. Many of them also volunteer to talk to PTSD affected cawps who feel they have no where else to go. It's a gift for sure. |

Just binged on Wednesday on Netflix. About Wednesday Addams (from Addams family) in in a freaky boarding school. Surprisingly good, even has Christina Ricci in a recurring role. Watched it with the kids and they liked it as well. Only problem I had with it was seeing Luiz Guzman as Gomez - man that dude got fat as a whale. After that we watched both Addams Family movies, it's a shame that Raoul Julia died so young, he was incredibly talented. |

Watching Copenhagen Cowboy on Netflix.
About 3/4 of the way through the series. It’s fucked up enough that I feel compelled to finish it….still pretty sure I’m going to get to the end and ask myself WTF did I waste my time on this? Then spoon my eyes out.

I don't know the video game so don't care about being close to the original or not. These types of stories (end of the world, apocalypse..) can start sucking pretty fast for me, and there's an atmosphere.Well done for the moment. |

Since you mentioned video games.... those fucks at Epic Games shutdown all the Unreal Tournament master servers! I've been playing that since 1998! I guess those whores want everyone to switch to Fortnite. Its more like FARTnite.
So I bought Halo: Master Chief COllection and started playing Reach. I'm not used to squad based military games.
I start playing and my son is watching over my shoulder and a ship comes in and starts dropping aliens onto the battlefield. SO I circle around them and run in, guns blazing, and laughing hysterically.
My son is yelling "what are you doing!? that's not the way to play!" And I"m still laughing and yelling "yippie kay ay motherfuckers!" like I'm playing UT.
Damn he was mad....
