For All Mankind on Apple TV. Checks almost every goddam woke checkbox you can think of but can’t stop binging. I”ll pay for my sins with another season of Jets. Agreed, but the 'what if' aspect is entertaining. It gets worse as it progresses, I've stalled around season 3/4. Like a lot of Apple+, strong female characters with little to no flaws, decent male characters with stereotypical fatal flaws. The Danny Stevens character arc is beyond annoying/unbelievable/obnoxious/you name it. |

Watched Roadhouse remake on Amazon knwoing it would suck, but it was even worse. McGregor got to play himself, was pretty convincing

I had zero expectations that it would live up to the original Swayze version and I wasn't wrong, but it was still fun. Yeah I chuckled a few times. Could have named it anything but Road House and it would be considered better but probably get half the viewers. After the first 5 minutes I thought it was going to be a wokefest but it backed off and was ok. |
