Just watched Many Saints of Newark. The Sopranos prequel. I was pretty disappointed.I never watched the Sopranos but this does not surprise me. Like turning Superman Bi. They ruin a good thing. Bi and working to solve climate change and help refugees.

How many times can they rehash superman or any of these other tired comics? Just trying to wring every last penny out of a dying piece of Americana. Or maybe they really are socially aware and trying to be more inclusive? Maybe its not about the money? Ok

Ok This new Superman will make out with guys and use his cold breath to restore glaciers. Everyone wins! Except for fans of non-fag Superman.

I think guys like Robert Kirkman have shown the money is in original ideas. He made a mint off of the Walking Dead and it was all self published and financed. Now he has a couple other shows from his other work. Comics are like movies 90% of the people producing them have 0 vision or creativity. They just keep remaking the same movie over and over with little changes to make them seem fresh. Then you have the real losers that think rebooting movies with an all female cast is a good idea and they are always shocked when no one goes to see them. Making existing characters gay is the comics version of that. They are also doing the female as the same character thing. Black female Iron "Man", female Thor, etc. And they will all be shocked when no one goes to see an overpriced movie or read the overpriced comic.
Speaking of Kirkman he also self published a comic last year and gave it to the stores to sell as a nonprofit for himself to help keep comic stores in business due to the plandemic. He seems like a decent dude. He has had gay characters in his comics but he didn't change existing characters to pretend to be edgy. It was organic and no one cared.

Anyone use YouTubetv or sling tv apps? Looking for feedback. I've used sling for the better part of the last 5 years or so. Its about the cheapest of the major streaming services. It works fine. There's rarely a hiccup with the service. Ive tried youtube tv and hulu. Both are more expensive and the content was about the same except for a few outlier shows i didnt watch. Didnt have issues with either except they both cost more than sling...and Im a cheap bastard. Not a sling fanboy, just dont think the others are worth the premium. I may ditch sling before too long. Just dont watch it much anymore except for a few channels.

Anyone use YouTubetv or sling tv apps? Looking for feedback. Been using YTTV for a while now. The price bump from when I started pissed me off, so exploring other options like Sling or Hulu Live. Good thing is that it has unlimited DVR space.

Just watched Many Saints of Newark. The Sopranos prequel. I was pretty disappointed. I really liked it. I was a big fan of the original show and was glad it wasn’t really about young Tony, but more about Christopher’s father Dickie Moltasanti. Thought it was very good, different/new with just enough nostalgia (younger versions of the original characters) and a pretty interesting story set against a cool late 60s/early 70s Newark in chaos backdrop. Also - just watched The Murders at White House Farm on HBO Max. Really good limited series (six episodes) based on a pretty wild family murder in England in the 80s. Definitely recommend it.

When you add basic cable and another dvr it winds up costing more.

Good thing is that it has unlimited DVR space. You're on LI right? Do you get ABC CBS NBC and Fox? Also do I need a firestick for each tv? I really am clueless when it comes to this shit but I'm done with cable.

There are 60+ channels on YTTV and all of ones you referenced are on it. Don't get a Firestick. Roku players have a much friendlier UI. But yeah, you'll need one for each TV, unless it's a smart TV.

If it matters to you, I know YTTV is like 2 mins behind live action.
