On the surface this seems like a step in the right direction. The only thing I am not crazy about is "Institute a 14-day period, starting Wednesday, during which only businesses with fewer than 20 employees can apply for relief through the Program" but that is because I don't know the reasoning at this point. I don't understand why you would need to limit other businesses to help these very small businesses.

How can anyone support this bullshit? Between removing the pricing controls on insulin, this and opening the borders to the point of saying they want to go find people that were deported and bring them back this is the most Anti-American administration ever.

I think that was probably a knee jerk reaction to the real or perceived (I don't know which TBH) notion that many of those small businesses got shut out from funds the first time around as the bigger fish gobbled up the money. I recall hearing local small businesses complain about that last year. |
