As a casual fan….seems as tho play at Euro and Copa is way more physical than years past. Not sure if that’s a reflection of overall play in the upper tier leagues….or I’m just misremembering.
I get it, which is why I bitched about US getting bullied about, getting “out-physicalled” and not adjusting accordingly.
I do like what I’m seeing from Spain. I’m not sure they’re “there” yet but the one touch passing and speed downfield seem impressive.
