Welp....personally, I had serious doubts as to the number of women coming forward stating the same story (even though Bill in his deposition did admit to using Quaaludes; my skepticism lies in the suspicion that some of those women may not have been victims but were looking to cash in but that's now a moot issue).
Anyway, I am okay with him being out of prison. Have you seen him lately? The man is blind and needs help to walk anywhere. At the very least, he'll now spend the rest of his remaining days in his home with his trophy...err..gold-digging..umm, I mean...wife. I doubt he will end up pulling an OJ and end up back in prison...just a hunch.
BTW, anyone see this yet?
When I saw that, I knew what would happen next and I was right, based on the responding tweets by the cesspool of idiots there.
She got raked over the coals for this comment.
In fact, there is now a petition to have her removed as Dean of the College she's working at.
In Today's America, No one is allowed to have a different opinion anymore.
You must conform and be of the same hive-mind or be destroyed.
I'm not sure this is a "difference of opinion" here. More like woefully disregard of facts. The guy admitted to drugging a number of women. Not sure you want your College Dean to be cheering that on.

^^^^ Probably not.
And I'm sure she'll end up stepping down 'cause that's how this shit works nowadays but it's still Hivemind bullshit regardless.

Vin - Camille has been married to him for 57 years. Not even close to being a “gold digger”.

i meant that in the sense that if she divorced him, she would no longer be privy to all of his money.

He admitted to drugging women before sex but claimed is was consensual in a civil deposition. For some reason he was given immunity for the future in exchange for this. Due to this most legal experts fully expected him to get out. Things like this are why woman are hesitant to come forward. You're not answering the question. What was the play for the prosecutor here? The horses mouth. nypost.com/2021/07/01/former-da-defends-bill-cosby-deal-behind-overturned-conviction/

Are Qualudes still a thing? Asking for a friend. Doesn't Tom Brady know?
I thought you had him on speed dial?

He is a scumbag. But if he made a deal, he made a deal. Prosecutor should be fired and disbarred. Gotta have principles. Even if they lead to unfavorable outcomes. Totally agree with this. But I don't get the point of the deal anyway. If Cosby pled the 5th and refused to answer questions in his civil case, the jury would be told this and be told they are permitted to infer that his refusal to testify is because his own testimony would be bad for him. This is because it was a civil case and not a criminal case. So, the rationale for the deal escapes me because it helped no one except Cosby. I guess I answered my own question there. I'd like to add that I feel terrible for his victims, but I have unanswered questions about the victims who went back to him after he did this to them. C'mon man! If a guy rapes you, you never want to be in his presence again, right? IMO, a number of the victims thought having sex with the dirty old amateur pharmacist was a good "career" move and then became bitter and regretful as time went by. Don't get me wrong, Cosby is scum and preyed on his victims by dangling the possibility of achieving a Hollywood dream lifestyle by their "association" with the old pervert. But there were no Mother Theresa's involved here. IMO most of these women are cautionary tales because predators like Weinstein and Cosby are just the tip of the iceberg when fame and fortune are your ultimate goal. Once again, they are all victims and did not deserve to have this happen to them, but in the real world, there are wolves and you ignore their existence at your peril.
