I joined JI in '97, my freshman year in college. Lotta old fucks around even then. Thought they started in 1999...have no idea when I joined, but it was already a thriving whacky place by then. Iffin it was '99 then my bad, but I'm pretty sure I joined in '97. |

I know on the header of the now ghost-town site that has no posters or new threads in years yet claims to be the most active Jet message board on the planet..it says 99. I'm thinking I came around the end of 2001 when sh*t finally slowed down after 9/11. |

You went right into my spank bank, boy howdy. not sure what time you talk about. back when i had a jets press pass i went with s0oth and his buddy to a tailgate challenge at the top of 40 rock, i think it was hosted by webber grills. i had a mic and some dude had a camera and we were talking to people there. some jets were the judges, i wanna say marty lyons but i'm not sure. maybe nuu faaola. anyway s0oth had one piece of steak that he marinated overnight. that was it, that one piece of meat. some other JI people were there, or ex-JI people at the time i should say, i think maybe jetlady or whoever one of the big female posters was that left in the JN exodus. so anyway her and her friends had a full fucking tailgate spread, like everything you can think of. and again s0oth had that one steak. maybe one loaf of french bread to put the meat on too but that was it. there were probably like 7 or 8 other contestants there, all grilling on the observation deck of 40 rock. anyway the judges pick s0oth and his one steak he brought in a ziplock bag. and the other contestants that all brought like full gameday spreads are all crying and whining and cursing over s0oth winning with 1 steak from a ziploc bag. and maybe a loaf of french bread possibly. much moaning and bitching especially from the lady, jetlady maybe? black hair, witchy looking vibe? anyway the prize was one of those round webber grills which we left on the roof of 40 rock. that time? |
