First game I have watched beginning to end in several weeks. Looked like the Isles of last year. Just enough scoring, ugly at times, couple of reviews go against us, had to hold on for dear life in the closing minutes, but won a tight one.

These guys and the turnovers. Holy crap. And Bailey…. damn he sucks. Was at the game last night, and for one of baileys shifts I focused on him and nothing else. That doosh just floated around and got pushed around like a rag doll off of 3 Avs players. It was beyond useless on the ice.

That's some wife material right there. I'm still watching most of the games but it stings that this team was one goal away from advancing and then eventually hoisting the cup to needing a miracle too even get to the playoffs. Fucking refs. |

Seems pretty quiet in the thread this year. Tonight was the first game of the season that I decided to watch; was completley apathetic about the start of the season. A lot of the same players, but at least through three games, a different team. Activating defensemen in the offensive zone has made a huge difference. 12 goals in the last two games -- it won't always be like that--but it was fun to watch tonight.

I was excited for the season because I think if they play up to average then should be competing for playoffs. Last year was whack. I was at the first two games. Good times, playing well, although vs bottom feeders last 2. Game tonight on ESPN+ I think, so need a stream. I might have a link if anyone needs.

They're on a roll and just played their best game of the season. Hopefully the slow start was because of acclimating to the new coach, but they're starting to pot goals right now.

I don’t think they’ve scored even close to 33 goals in 9 games under Barry. There’s definitely an emphasis on quick passing and more shots this year. That was a great game last night, the house was rockin. Had some dipshit Avs fan standing up after their 2nd and 3rd goal, taunting the fans. He got it good later on, and left early like a flake. Also, Mrs Bailey is smoking hot |
