I think Putin is surprised by the unanimous international push back this is receiving. I don't think he cares, but the various sanctions, SWIFT banning, Europe sending weapons.. etc is not what he expected. I read also apparently Anonymous (the hacker dudes) have launched a jihad on Russia and have hacked mulitple gvt agencies. Given the protagonist (Putin) I don't like where this is going.. I have a completely baseless concern/theory that Putin has cancer or something and wants to put his mark on the world. His economy wasn't doing well and he felt this could be his last chance and a desperate man that was already a loose canon is very dangerous. Guess I was right |

Woke up to this today. Gotta say, the lack of comments criticizing this was shocking. It seems critical thinking is completely gone. Here we have a band performing in a purported warzone, in a bomb shelter. And yet, the place looks like a late night talk show stage, complete with mood lighting, music set equipment, multiple cameras, mic and camera booms, and presumably the entourage required to make it all happen. But the commentary is all "so brave, so inspirational." How the fuck are people so willfully ignorant?!?!?
