^ Not this one. They are saying a ''Generational Storm''. Hope not. The wind and power outages are the major concern here and areas in the Northeast

It looks like Buffalo is going to get wacked good. Stay safe. On the other hand, the forecasters have promoted panic here in Illinois. Yesterday the grocery stores were packed with the sheep who buy into forecasters dire warnings and local news hysteria. Earlier it was 10 - 12 inches with white-out conditions and fridged temperatures. Last night its cold temperatures with wind chill below 0 and 2 - 3 1/2 inches with strong winds. I usually drink at the American Legion on Thursday to kick off the weekend and plan on going, fuck it, then home to watch the game. It will unfortunately screw up a lot of people's travel plans, in parts of the country, so good luck to everyone traveling.

Stay safe, Bing. I'm sure you have people in the area with a generator, but we have friends in Snyder with one who would happily help in a pinch.

A power inverter running off your car battery might help. Cheaper and might be more readily available.
Stay safe and keep warm Binger!

Good luck. Hope it isn't as bad as they are making it out to be. Be safe. Do you have a generator? I don't, so im really concerned about that part We are regularly victimized by outages here in the sticks of NJ, so we eventually had to get one. Around here if a squirrel falls of the treadmill the power goes out. Pays for itself for all the groceries you end up throwing out after a couple of days with no power

Yeah, I'm supposed to travel to NE Pa. for Christmas. Thinkin the only way to avoid a sh*tshow will be to leave real early Fri. before the temps plunge. Good luck, Bing.
