Same thing with Yankee stadium. It seems to get to the point where flustered home teams wait for the "magic" to happen instead of "being" the magic. Always hated the mystique/greatest arena/Cathedral of baseball tripe. It seems to empower visiting teams more than anything else. That said, I dont know what the fuck team I just watched for 3 games. 2 shots on goal in the second last night down 3? Seems dum Right? Come out blasting and then take a dump three games in a row. Where the fuck did the power play go and are Trouba and Fox even playing? Same for Zibs. Last three games have been embarrassingly gross. As Jets fans we are used to it. SOOOO frustrating. |

Great game. I’m a partial season ticket holder. They played like shit after going up 2 games to none. They seem to play better with their back to the wall. |

I believe the old stadium had an element of it too at times. I watched Red Sox fans dance around the big bat in 2004 when all we had to do was win one out of two at home during the ALCS to seal it. Never believed much in the "mystique" thing being a positive after that, though I miss the charm of both previous stadiiums. (admittedly, I also enjoy the newer amenities and increased bathrooms lol...I'm cane-shaking) |

only lost 12 games ALL SEASON, lost 4 in one round to the lowest seed
were winning with a minute left in game 7

Btw...I dont know how there is no score after the first period, the Devils are smothering the Rangers. Think there was a 13-1 shot differential at one point. Igor is saving their arses again. Devils passing is sharper, they are faster and waste no time putting the puck on the net. I dont see a way out of this for the Rangers if this keeps up. |
