Calijah Kancey is the dude more people need to pay a lot more attention to. The Jets shouldn’t draft an OT just for the sake of it. There’s a damn good chance that all of Skoronski, Johnson and Jones are gone at #15. Do you just automatically take a Darnell Wright, knowing damn well that if all goes according to plan, said OT is going to be nothing more than the backup swing tackle this year? If you can pair up Kancey with Quinnen, then you’re going to cause QB’s to sh*t their pants with the pressure they’ll routinely see up the middle. Especially when coupled with a steady diet of JFM, Lawson, Huff, Johnson, Clemons and Jefferson. No if the guy(s) you grade at the spot that meet a need aren't there you either trade down or go BPA.

Get one of the top offensive tackles, preferably Peter Skoronski. As far as the #2 pick, it's doubtful he drops to the second round but I'd take love to have Jalen Carter in spite of his driving history. I'd be surprised if he was still on the board, if not I'd continue to go OL or grab a quality linebacker.

Correct, that's one of the knocks on him. However, I go with the Jimmy Johnson philosophy, never draft a dumb guy, no matter what his talent ceiling is. Skoronski is smart, and tough. That being said, I home one of the top 4 OT's are still on the board at 15.

Jags OT is getting suspended. I don't know if I'd want to drop back to 24 but they might want to move up. Swap, get a 1st from next year and a 2d this year sound right?

I wouldn't make any moves back until we are on the clock and see who is available. Hopefully Douglas can have another great draft. 2022 is a hard draft act to follow.

[10:48 AM] Richard Casale
Packers converted $58.3 million of Aaron Rodgers' 2023 option into 2024 salary prior to trading him to the Jets.
As reported by ESPN's Dan Graziano, the conversion means Rodgers will earn $1.165 million this season with the Jets, and will be in line to earn $107.55 million next year. That's not a typo. While obviously a huge number, the Jets will look to restructure Rodgers' contract after this season, ensuring he gets the money he's owed while also working out a deal that's in their own best interest.
