Checked in early and Ireland were down 3-0. I see they pulled it out 13-8 in the end. (Of course it was on Peacock TV which I refuse to pay for.) Pretty impressive against the defending World Champs. I bought the sopne an IRFU Jersey a couple years back, I'll have to dig it out and pretend I've been a huge follower all along.

Just heard that next year's cricket world cup will be held in Nassau county. They're putting together a pre-fab 34,000 seat stadium at Eisenhower Park. Should be some really good Indian food pop-ups in the area.

I have never understood how cricket is played. Baseball, but even longer. I’ve watched about 15 minutes of cricket total in my lifetime, but I’ve heard some games can literally take days to play. |

FYI, replay of Ireland vs. Scotland on channel 4 (NBC) at 12 for those on the east coast. Finally starting to show games on "regular" TV.
