Had an echocardiogram yesterday. Apparently the heart machine (lvad) makes imaging difficult so guy calls in a nurse to inject a dye to see stuff better. I ask the tech what he’s looking for and he says “I’m trying to see if that blood clot is still in your heart”. I’m like wtf? I feel like the guy that had some bank robbers strap a bomb around his neck and then told him to rob a bank.

Apparently the surgeon and my family discussed removing it during one of my surgeries but opted not to because she didn’t want to risk more damage.
