How many years do you think A Rod plays with us? Physically, it looks like he can play another 5 no problem. He was escaping the rush and running out of bounds no issue. The arm obviously is still there. Dunno, I guess it will all come down to motivation. As things progress, I feel it's more and more likely he stays after next season. I don’t know about five years. I remember watching Brett Favre in the playoffs with his last year in Minnesota and he was getting destroyed. I was in my mid 40s at the time and I was thinking I don’t know how this guy is doing it they destroyed him, I’m figuring we’re gonna have Rogers for this year and next |

You think his motivation is money? I think it's legacy, the intellectual challenge and human experience. In the immortal words of George Young, it is always about the money, even when the player says it is not, it is still about the money. Just saying. Ego probably has a role as well. I don’t think it’s all about the money with him. He gave back like $15 million right? |

I always remember how fast Vinny T went downhill so quickly after his injury. That being said, he went on to play with 4 teams after leaving NY in 2003, including a return to the Jets in 2005. |

I also think it depends on if they keep Oline quality and keep good skills players. If there is protection for him he can probably play 4 or 5 more years.
