After digesting this for two days I think Saleh was thinking out loud. Hes not a Mensah but I dont think he really believes that cadence stuff. It tracks with his good guy demeanor and never wanting to be controversial or publicly scold players. I can live with the odd comments and difference in opinion on coaching style if we were getting results. The fact is that his teams are always flat, undisciplined and outcoached. I have to agree. At first, I was a fan of his coaching style and diplomatically dealing with problems without throwing players under the bus. I don't think he's a bad guy and likely very likable. I think this just shows how tough it is to be a successful head coach in the NFL and why there are a few elite HC's who can do it all, e.g., Mike Tomlin, Andy Reed, Pete Carroll. I left out Mumbles even though he always got the most out of his teams. However, you need to footnote him because of winning the lottery on Tom Brady. I'm not sure how this is going to shake out with Salah. He may only be the table setter for a new coach and staff. |

He wants to play good cop. For that too work you need some of your vets willing to play bad cop and police from within. I dont think we have much of that, especially on offense. Rodgers can do it to an extent but we know how that will play in the media if he starts chewing guys out. I think Simpson could be the guy but he just got here. |

Our D's strength was creating pressure with 4 DL's. Now only Will McD is able to win, so they have to shift to more blitzes IMO (or sign Reddick) |

I would love to see more blitzes. Worked against the Pats although their OL is in shambles. |
