Honesty is refreshing. Williams is a very good WR. However, he has no chemistry with AR after 6 games. I'm sure they could and would develop it over time, but the Jets are out of time. A few breaks the Jets way likely would have given them time to develop it but that isn't the way it went. Wilson is also out of sync with AR for the exact same reason. Lazard looks like an all-star at times and a bum the next play. AR not playing in the pre-season, Williams not playing in the pre-season and being initially limited when the season started has caused this. I guess my little theory will be tested this Sunday and the next with the arrival of Adams. Look for Lazard, Adams to go over 100. The wolf is at the door and it's time to get things together. Pittsburg is a tough place to play, and I won't even go into what Watt could do to AR if he doesn't get protection from the O line. |

He played hard even after getting paid He's only had 1 double digit sack season - not necessarily a DT stat I know - but once he got paid he went back to his standard of about 6 sacks per season. I don't think this should be a surprise to anyone. Holding him to a higher standard based on his pay is appropriate imo |
