Have to hold on until DJ and Carter return. Also, thin at Safety with Clark on the IR for at least 4 weeks. I guess this is likely another factor in the lack of QB pressures/sacks by the defense. It would sure be nice to have the Jets cobble together a few wins and then start getting key personnel in the secondary back healthy, then just sit back and see what happens. |

Here's my take on this. Woody's sick of it. For years he's been listening to the so-called experts like that pompous boob Mike Tanenbaum, McCagnan, Idzik, Bradway and Dick Haley. Ok, he hired them but again he probably had people in his ear and listened to them. Every single one had a losing record but Tannenbaum who was 57 - 55, so nothing to brag about. The Jets haven't been to the playoffs in 14 years so he's taking the Donald Trump approach and saying fuck you so-called experts. I gave you everything you asked for, money, personnel, draft picks and you still can't put a winner on the field. This is a win now team and it's 2 - 4. You are fuckin up and it's my team, my money so you had your chance. So now we're doing it my way now. I'll listen to your concerns, I'll take into consideration your advice, but I want results, and I want it now, so if you don't like it, you can all pack your bags and get the fuck out. It was really good the first 10 years, the last 15 has been awful. He was away for 4 years of that. Woodys high-profile meddles according to media are Favre, Tebow, Rodgers, firing Saleh, Adams and now Reddick. Thats 5 for 6 as I see it. I think he likes JD but thinks JD sits on his hands. Hence the "thinking is overrated" comment. So he stepped in. I dont know what people want from him. Im a JD fan. But people treat him like he is some HoF GM. He is good compared to what we have had but his record is awful and its Year 6. |
