Saw somewhere that he was projected as a 1st round pick before the season then fell off hard. Could be a steal. We have had success with the scrap heap.

^^^Love the positivity. Olu has the benefit of learning from a future HOF LT, the new RBs will give Breece a chance to rest on his way to 2,000 all-purpose yards (book it), FSU QB can sit and learn from a legend, CFL rookie of the year can adjust to playing safety (would like to see him at SS because he can lay the wood), and new slot WR can and will be a YAC monster.
Wifne's cousin (knew him before her) and I have always said that whenever the Jets make the SB, we're going no matter the cost. Got my Zubaz boner pants dry cleaned and ready to go (tough to get semen and poo stains out - no idea whose they were, but I have a headache and my butt hurts).

You can make the argument that in two years with Rodgers and the "win-now" mandate the Jets did nothing in the first round to help that cause. Ive been critical of JD but he knocked free-agency out of the park. Huff hurt but Reddick is a major upgrade. We all know drafts are the lifeblood and at the top of the draft JD's record leaves a lot to be desired. McDonald needs to prove himself this year. Having Reddick or JJ opposite him is going to help. JFM was purely a cap casualty. We have a ton of dead cap this year. That goes away next year and we will have plenty of room to resign of bring new guys in. Not worried long-term. The Rodgers cap hit will be a thing in 2026 or 2027 but IDGAF about that. We have Rodgers. I wish we had all long-term solutions on the OL but we needed so much in a short amount of time. IMO the OL is rebuilt but as usual it will come down to health. Im not worried about Moses, he is an iron man and will play hurt. Some guys are just different. Should have never let him leave as a FA. As for Tyron Smith we need to do exactly what Dallas has done the last few years which is let him rest during the week and play on Sundays. The guy is the best pass blocker in the league when he is healthy. There is also an added benefit to this approach which is Fashanu will get a ton of 1st team reps throughout the year in practice. He will be better for it. Would like to see McGovern resigned as a depth piece. We finally have a real backup QB and developmental prospect. Sure Mike White is better than both but he wanted to go home to Florida. We added two RBs in the draft that offer a much different skillset than Breece which is nice. Would have liked a Safety but like people have mentioned, the CFL kid might be a safety. We know Saleh loves his conversion projects. And he and JD get the benefit of the doubt bc they have had success with those and late in the draft as well as UDFAs. Devil's advocate for the OLine this year and going forward. This year we have some 1 year contracts to shore up the line for Rodgers and some decent depth. Maybe we resign Moses (33) again next year if Warren isn't ready to step up as a starter. Smith is another option to resign at 34 though I don't see anyone other than Fashanu at LT after this year for a while. Tippmann should be our Center for years to come. Left Guard John Simpson is only 26 and is signed for 2 years. AVT is AVT, If he stays healthy he will be resigned and 3/5 of a potentially great line. I could see taking a RT at #32 in the 2025 draft. There are pieces there. As always it comes down to health and development.

The Jets are known for their ability to develop raw QBs so this makes a lot of sense...

On a somehwat related not: Kris Jenkins' kid got drafter by the Bungles. Seems so far away that #77 was wreaking havoc for us back in the Sanchize days....

It would be smart of JD to trade up into the 1st again to get that extra year. Wut?

Good highlight tape. Had to mute it as the "music" was horrible.
