I'm Grampa. Simple and easy for the kids to say. Not to mention the title never gets dated. My oldest Grandkids are in their early teens and I am still Grampa. Not poo poo or some other annoying name.

same here...congrats old timer...the name will come organically... Yeah, I actually just started thinking about the name because other people have constantly been asking me what I wanna be called. I met my kids future father-in-law and he’s a great guy. He already has grandchildren started calling him Poppa Dude. Since I definitely wouldn’t have gone with that, it’s wide open. Not sure if I wanna be Grandpa or something else. Not really worrying about it. could be grandpa asshole...keep us posted...  |
