Let's be real here. The crimes committed by Bill Belicheck are far worse....yet he remains a free man.

There's a hell of a lot more to hear about than the bullshit over what happened in Ferguson, where the only crime committed was strong-arm robbery and assault of a police officer. This new incident is a mob of black teens killing a white man for being white. Yeah, sure, nothing to see here, move along. they've been arrested and will probably spend the rest of their lives in jail. done. end of story. >20 years, with the youngest one getting sentenced as a minor, out when he's 21. Gotta make space for all those pot smokers.

It never ceases to amaze me how little people care these days to gather the facts, not only before they take a position on something, but before they decide to put themselves out there and make a public spectacle of themselves, from social media to the streets. It's not just one side of these recent events either. Both sides have their dopes who make a LOT of noise, with very limited facts to back their positions.
It's pretty evident when you listen to most people talk about these things that a majority of this country have a very different understanding of certain words in our vernacular than what they actually mean. Words like "homicide", "justice", or what a grand jury actually does. Pick up a damn dictionary or text book, fools. Read testimony from multiple witnesses before you assume you know what happened.
Not to let one side off the hook for stupidity, but the most striking thing to me in all this is some of the deep, deep hypocrisy going on with white liberals. Without ever having been black themselves, and never serving a single day as a police officer, I'm shocked at how many of them are such authorities on being such things. I think some of them actually believe that they alone have figured out this whole racism issue, and they alone have been able to be the ones to rise above it, simply because they have chosen to vote for THIS group of liars over THAT group of liars. They love to talk about "disparate impact" when it comes to law enforcement or voting, but conveniently refuse to acknowledge it when their own policies on education, abortion, etc produce similar, much more damaging effects. And now we're hearing from them about growing institutionalized racism, how our police have too much power over us, then they turn around and support the very politicians who OPENLY profess to grow the scope and power of those very laws that enable the police state. Somehow in their minds, I guess the answer to too much government is... more government? Don't even get me started on the loons who actually believe that there is ANY justification for the response to these events that come in the form of rioting, looting and violence. "Well, it's just a response to anger. Anger over the evil inherent in us whites". How many of you have ever been angry? How many of you believe that victimizing other individuals that have nothing to do with your anger is an appropriate method of expressing it?
So much noise is being made about this lately that it must be drowning out for many the assumptions they're making while yelling about assumptions people make. It's clear we have a swath of the population who don't believe that individuals or circumstances matter, and that personal responsibility is a fairy tale of the past. I can't help but wonder what's driving this? It's not like these things are new. My working theory: white liberals are in full melt-down mode after the mid-term elections. The meme of the "War on Women" has crumbled before their eyes. Racism may be the last tool for their divide and conquer strategy. I think they're also struggling deeply now with realization that Barack Obama has been a complete failure as President in every way imaginable. After years of comforting themselves that they couldn't possibly be racist because they supported him, DESPITE his obvious lack of qualifications for the position, and calling anyone who opposed him Klan members, their heads are exploding. There's a lot of obvious guilt and confusion there. "How could we have been so wrong, when we were SO, SO adamant that we were right?" Maybe it's time to collect yourselves and start with questioning whether or not you really feel comfortable being in total sync with Al Sharpton.
