Didn't see it discussed but what the hell was Nationwide thinking with that dead kid commercial? My daughter's best friend died in a car accident in first grade. My daughter is now in high school and it still brings a tear to my eye whenever I think of the accident. I can only imagine what her parents and anyone else who lost a kid felt seeing that stupid commercial. What is the over/under for lost customers due to that ad?

Nationwide was thinking of the huge audience they could reach with this add. There's a time and place for everything. I found the timing to be inappropriate. After all Super Bowl Sunday is a party. I feel for you and your daughter.

This was the year of the depressing super bowl commercial apparently, yet all people were bitching about was Ron Swanson making fun of the gluten insensitive in that nascar commercial.
That nationwide commercial was jaw dropping when the kid deadpans that he died.

Nationwide should have saved the billion dollars and instead offered reduced rates to everyone because.....OF THE BILLION DOLLARS THEY JUST SAVED.
That's how you get new customers.

The domestic violence one with the woman calling 911 and acting like she's ordering a pizza was brutal...ugh I blame Ray Rice. Didn't see it discussed but what the hell was Nationwide thinking with that dead kid commercial? I blame Peyton Mr. Forehead. I was rooting for the wolf to rip that puppy to shreds. Am I for hell? I blame Mike Vick. Too much fucking schmaltz on all these commercials... If schmaltz is what I think it is....then I blame southside.
