If anyone is looking for a good yet unassuming Peruvian restaurant I recommend Mancora on 1st ave and 6th street mancorarestaurantandbar.com/I had the sweet potato encrusted salmon - mouth watering. There were a lot of grilled steak, sirloin type dishes, which I do not eat but sounded good. The grilled cow heart - definite pass but someone might like that. I wonder if they keep it frozen for the once a year request. Just go to the bathroom before you get there. It is the world's smallest bathroom even by NYC stanards - tucked under the stairwell so there isn't even room to stand up straight. |
