I thought before free agency started that Orakpo could be good value considering he was coming off injury, but now given the signings so far he is a little too expensive. Still need a vet QB, TE, safety and another O lineman. Make a Sam Acho is a more realistic option for OLB. IF we can bring in a tight end -- then maybe we can cut Cumberland. I believe he would free up $2MM with no cap penalties. I would like to see us move on from him - but right now there is little NFL quality TE depth on this roster. I guess it depends on what Gailey has in mind for the TE position. Is he going to flex out the TE the majority of the time or does he want an inline guy?

Just not sure how much cap resources are still available after Revis. Especially since it sounds like we will probably add more to the secondary today and we still need a QB. With a weak TE draft class, we will probably have to live with another year of Cumberland.

Maybe the Jets ought to give Brian Orakpo's Agent a call to see how things are going? I'd wait till next week to see if he's around. He's injury prone, and teams won't have crazy cash left........

I still want the Jets to sign another Guard. I wanted a another young one, but the only good young one, Clint Boling, is no longer available. The Jets should make a run at Justin Blalock or Rob Sims. They are both 31, but represent a huge upgrade at the position with Oboushi being the #3 Guard competing for playing time. Good idea.

Nice contract for the Bengals. That's a very good signing.

We have a lot of names, including some young developmental types that I don't want to discard quite yet. Our interior could include Carpenter, Aboushi, Winters, Dozier right now.

That's a very nice move for Cincy. I'd imagine the Jets would/could have gone to 5 years and maybe $30M. Oh well.
