I had to go to Downtown Buffalo today...... threw my half smoked cigarette in the street..... 5 seconds later a bum picked it up , started smoking it and walked away.... I wanted to toss him some smokes as I drove away, but the wife advised otherwise...... unreal.... He could have been a homeless vet. Next time do what you wanted to. Most of these folks are not homeless because they like the life. I have beaucoup soft spots for the vets. Salvation Army does a lot of good work for our struggling vets. Throw him a fiver as well. You will feel great after doing it. |

You will feel great after doing it. My Dad was 42 years in the Air Force...went in as a Private, retired a Brig General. Very familiar with vets and their struggles.... I try to help anyway I am able, but you're right... I never did give that a thought...now I feel bad that I didn't give him my pack o smokes.... |
