Piece of shit couldn't have done the right thing and eat a bullet, but instead decided to take 150 people down with him. No idea what was going on in his life - depression, mental illness, wife banged another guy, whatever, and I don't take any of that lightly - but jeez, fucking turn on the car with the garage door closed instead of ending and ruining hundreds of lives . Poor people in the plane, seeing the mountains getting closer with the pilot banging on the door...ugh I'd get through that fucking door I promise you that. Id relapse on that bar car the minute those knocks started with the mountains in view.

Yep. Usually when one of the pilots leaves the cabin another crew member has to go in...never a lone person in cabin. They could pass out or have a heart attack and be locked in. I wonder if they did that here...then again the guy could have killed the other person

New pilot policy. Never leave cockpit without key to cockpit door. Problem solved. Unfortunately pilot trusted dickhead copilot as he did not know he was a dickhead until he would not let him back in back in. I also wonder if the door auto locks in flight or if the dickhead copilot locked it after the pilot left.

I wonder what is really being heard on that cockpit voice recorder and if they are releasing everything they know. This would really suck if he killed the squatter before crashing it into that mountain..

If 1 guy leaves someone (a stewrad) sits until he comes back. Since all reports say there was absolutely no sounds in the cockpit besides the guy knocking on the door I'm guessing they didn't follow that guideline. Apparently there's a code to get in but can stay locked if the pilots decide to keep it that way.

Guess we have to redesign planes to have bathroom in cockpit. Its does not autolock.

Video showing how safe the door is.... but also shows how the co-pilot was able to keep the pilot out.

He most likely knew that the Pilot would do this, or have done this in past and decided today was the day. Fucking coward. Apparently on the tape you could hear the screams of the passengers. Awful.
