I'm confused at what the crime was.... everything is based on hearsay. Last I checked they have to use her own testimony to that affect to charge her with anything... thus pleading the 5th. Unless these kids are rolling over on her (no pun intended). She had sex with an 18 year old. Legal. She also was technically "raped" by a 16 year old. They can't prove she gave those kids drugs or alcohol days after the party where there were no cops at the incident. I really don't understand how any lawyer worth a damn couldn't get her off free and clear. Um. The whole case will be the kids rolling over on her. Paul Blart would be competent enough to get charges to stick. |

The cops will arrest the kids and offer a very good deal in exchange for co-operation. At least one of them will roll. Also, can we all agree that Southside is the only male on the planet who would have avoided getting laid at this party? All this "sponsor" did was give people in recovery ammunition/reasons for not going to AA. So much for keeping shit "anonymous". |

The prosecutor would want further evidence and there's a good chance at least one of those kids will spill the goods. |

The AA counselor's statement is also hearsay unless she shows up to testify. |

If she did then yeah, that's official investigation shit. But if they arrested her off of the sponsor's word then I can't see the charges sticking. Either way, sounds like the best thing that could have happened for her kids. Where the hell is the father in all this? Hopefully the kids don't end up in foster care. |

The dad is probably off jumping in a campfire screaming guns and roses lyrics and firing his pistol in the air (in vicinity of much smaller children that are not his) probably for the best he aint around.
