Kinda describes his time under center for the Jets

April 17: Draft Day, 1999. The Jets did not have a first round pick that year -- it went to the Pats as compensation for signing Bill Parcells as HC a couple of years earlier. They had 8 picks that year, acquiring extra late round picks in trades, getting a 7th for Glenn Foley and a 6th for Alex Van Dyke. It was not exactly a memorable draft for the Jets, coming away with a couple of linemen and not much else:

We did sign a UDFA that year who went on to have a solid career - but not with the Jets.  TE Jermaine Wiggins was signed as a UDFA out of Georgia.  He went on to catch 236 passes for over 2,100 yards in his 7 year career, but only 2 of those catches and 4 yards came with the NYJ.
