If the QBs are gone, then we gotta go either Cooper or Parker if we don't trade back. Or Scherff Haven't seen much of Scherff. Would he be able to come in as a guard and slide over to tackle as an eventual replacement for Brick?

If both Winston and Mariota are off the board when we pick I wouldn't mind trading back. Then take the top CB and then trade up for White/Strong. I wouldn't love it, but I wouldn't hate it. Peat going back hurt us. He is the only top 5 OL that I would have been OK with. And fuck no on drafting defense in the first round...yet again. I'd only do defense in the first round if I had two first round picks and like I said had a high second rounder that we spent on offense again. If we don't trade back there is no way I'm taking defense in the top 5.

I don't watch much tape on OL till before the draft or if I keep hearing there name over and over again. I read footballsfutures.com a lot which has a lot of great amateur draft scouts. I watch a ton of college games, but that site helps me look at players I might have missed or overlooked. They're all about T.J Clemmings out of Pittsburgh. It made me look at some tape and so far I've been impressed. I think he'd be right up your alley now that Peat is staying. Done. I love breaking down the Olineman but I've been lax the last few years because of our greater needs. OL and specifically T is a huge need for our team and I'm not feeling Scherf that early.

I'll watch all of his tape before I give my worthless scouting report. I have purposely been very non committal on most of the prospects because of the time frame but I'll go full out on Clemmings. I'm starting from scratch on him.

I don't think many draft forum regulars doubted him. He's struggled the last few weeks, but his talent was still evident. He just needs to go to the right situation and stay out of trouble. I still like him better than Mariota, but I'm not selling the farm for either of them. As bad as we need a QB I wouldn't sell the farm for either of them also. I have to many negative check marks against both of them. +1

Only played two years of HS ball and is Dline convert who is still raw as an offensive lineman.....for some reason I tend to love players with that background. I already see some first round grades on him. I'll be keeping a close eye on him during senior bowl week.

The caveat is that I'm only breaking down one game, but he was impressive. He fits the bill of an all planet type mold, with size and weight. I liked his athleticism, ability to get to the second level, shoots off the ball like a rocket and locates blockers. I also see a mean streak. It's only one game but I am thoroughly impressed......it sucks that he is playing RT in a subpar conference but he is still very raw. After only only one tape, I like him better than Ogbuehi and Collins.
