That you purport to be an active member of law enforcement and feel this way is incredibly disturbing. I could less what a bunch of anonymous poster think about me. I don't subscribe to being a paranoid old man who wishes it was the "old days". The old days are the same as the new days except thanks to social media we see and hear everything and the majority of that isn't factual. Majority of people in this country are good people but they're a lot people out there who want to kill and jumping to conclusions in order to prove a shitty point isn't helpful. Facts are facts. This isn't cane-shaking. Again, that you, a self-described LEO, have the views you do, is something I find, as a former LEO, disturbing. As for the anonymous part, I've certainly shared more than my fair share of personal, easily verifiable information in this "new day" of social media, which is a far cry more than you can say, Mr/Ms cr726. I've said it before and I'll say it again; state your case beyond your ideology, even once in a blue moon, while also taking a knock for being wrong without changing the argument (as you're doing here, again) and maybe you'll earn some anonymous respect. Or don't and continue this silliness, but don't go and get pissy when you get called out on it.

To think I would care enough to lie about my occupation blows my mind. Who would I be trying to impress?

To think I would care enough to lie about my occupation blows my mind. Who would I be trying to impress? You could lie about your job out of a desire to maintain privacy, professionally or personally. That's your right, I was just remarking on the ironicalness of your knocking anonymous posters calling you out. Neocons is a stupid term, as is Tea Partier and libtard. Unlike most, I subscribe to a standard that for me relies on a particular moral code that was formulated from many sources, politically, religiously and ethically. That, is what leads me to make most of my decisions, not my party affiliation (so very Eastern Europe circa 1940s, that term). So yea, I don't fit neatly in one of the pre-determined boxes and you think I'm more or less a good dude. Maybe there's something to that?
