Does Griffin Reinhart get the call in Game 5 assuming Viz is out? Cappy sounded as pissed as I ever heard him last night in the post-game. Top lines were almost invisible last night. I assume Grabovski will be in if he can go. Kennedy isn't the most skilled player, but at least he isn't afraid to put the puck on the net. Thats said, he only had 10 minutes on the ice, so I assume he will be a scratch. Should be interesting to see if Cappy tinkers beyond that. Unless Hammer is ready to get back in the lineup tonight, I would think it has to be Reinhart. Looks like we have Grabo back tonight also:

Grabs ski hasn't played in months. Not sure I like the return in a crucial game 5.
Think I'd rather see grabner.

after that long out with a concussion, it must have been a doozie, which means grabovsky is one good hit away from going back on ir....and the caps know it
not a good situation

nhl.com has CHI/NSH listed at 8pm on Saturday, if necessary. Therefore if NSH wins tonight, Isles probably play at 3 on Saturday. If Chicago closes the series out tonight, then the Isles probably get the 8pm slot.
What time do the lots to the coli open up? Got some drinkin and eatin to do before going in.
If it's 8, shakin, we're staying at your place.

Can't clear / turnovers in your own zone is killing this team. Same story all second half of the season.

Oh, an Isles PP. Should just decline it.

Ooof.
Hopefully Saturday will be a rebirth, and not a funeral.

Ugly 2nd and 3rd periods. Really missing Hammer and Lubo -- gonna be awfully tough to beat the Caps two straight with our banged up defense.

Look at his abysmal line-ups and scratches. Clueless mother fucker scratches Nelson for scrubs like Kennedy and inserts Reinhart who looks like he is skating with a pair of cement bricks. I'd rather see Mayfield out there rather than the bust that Reinhart is. Fucking brutal for a 4th overall 3 years down the road.

I'd rather see Mayfield out there rather than the bust that Reinhart is. Fucking brutal for a 4th overall 3 years down the road. Agree 100%. THe D was mismanaged all season which is one reason we are in this mess. DeHaan is forced back into action in hte playoffs after being a healthy scratch most of the last month. There was plenty of opportunity to get the young guys (Reinhart, Mayfield) some playing time during the reg season with some of the injuries we had so they would be more ready if needed. Instead, Reinhart gets called up and thrown at there against Ovi after playing 8 games all season -- and all of them in Oct & Nov. How could you not see a disaster coming. Not exactly sure WTF Kennedy brings to the table. I think the 3rd Caps goal was symptomatic of our struggles throughout the 2nd half of the season. First Hickey has a chance to clear on the PK instead he turns the puck over, then after the penalty expires and Kennedy turns i tover in teh neutral zone, we don't get a change and Wash beats us up ice with tired guys out there after killing the penalty. Looke like the team quit after that. Seems like the Caps physicality has taken the fight out of the Isles. Embarrassing performance all around. Do you come back with Halak our Neuvirth tomorrow?

^^^^ Kennedy 'cleared' it right to the Caps guy in the neutral zone just moments before that goal.
Really, last night is pretty much how they've played since the all star break. You can't expect to half-ass it for the second half of the season, then turn it around once the playoffs start.
They'd better come out flying on Saturday like they did in game 1. Which I am surprised they didn't have more fight in them last night, I would have thought they'd come out the first 10 minutes and dominate. Didn't happen.
What time do the parking lots open? Game time is at 3.
