So who's starting the "adopt another team" thread now that the season is toast? I tried to start a Move the Jets to Nome, Alaska thread but the mods deleted it. Even had a name - the Alaska Icebergs. Also, the jets chant could easily b changed to N-O-M-E, nome, nome, nome!!! :-)

I give up... I can get anywhere with this team. I was really trying with Geno. All i wanted was a drama-free NFL offense. What I got instead, was a Special team jobber throwing a haymaker to my dreams god dammit. I'm gonna need an 18 year old, to get over this headache. 18 year old................scotch...........pool boy.......what???

Geno can make this a good thing just like Joe:
"The 1967 game was one of the most vicious in Jet history. Namath was slugged to the turf; he was hit late, punched in the groin. They aimed for his knees, tried to step on his hands ... And Davidson got Namath. He got him on a rollout, with a right that started somewhere between [California cities] Hayward and Alameda. It knocked Namath's helmet flying, and broke his jaw, but Namath didn't miss a play, and he threw for 370 yards and three TD's in that 38–27 loss."
Paul Zimmerman (August 13, 1976). "Heidi, Ben, Warren and memories". Pro! (Oakland ed.) (NFL Properties).

Biggest thing I'm upset about is if Fitz does well all the Geno haters/booers/racists/whatever will all feel completely vindicated even though we'll never know how Geno would have done. Obviously hope he kills it but still

Obviously hope he kills it but still Geno couldn't have been drafted into a worse situation. Jets are QB killers. Peyton Manning would have failed here probably.

Albert BreerVerified account @albertbreer According to a source, the Geno Smith/IK Enemkpali fight in the Jets locker room was indeed over money. Next time I bet you Geno will just go ahead and pay the vig.
